About Hevea Wood. (Rubber Wood)
Hevea wood grows in managed plantations in south east Asia where it is grown primarily for its latex rubber. Once it stops producing the latex the trees are felled and systematically replaced. As it is uniquely grown in managed plantations you can buy with confidence knowing that you are supporting developing cultures and not contributing to any deforestation since these trees are replaced every time they are felled

- Ideal for Cutting bread, chopping meat, cutting fruit, vegetables etc.
Chopping board care and use:
It is advised that this chopping board be used for decoration only. If you do want to use the board please wash before first use (hand wipe only- not dishwasher safe!) and treat with wood treatment oil (not included) at regular intervals.
